The Airmont Scoop Editor can now add “Public Reading” to his resume!
So it appears that Mr. Peterlin (from Milwaukee, WI) needs to read an important message for Airmont, NY residents.
This video reminds me of a scene from the Comedy Hot Shots: Part Deux:
Notice the similarities as both appear to be completely scripted.
Peterlin’s seemingly simple statement was interrupted several times so that he could glance at his notes which we here assume were lovingly provided by Mort Becker.
Mr. Becker, one of your statements rings louder than the rest:
“Fair and unbiased manner” is not how I would describe Airmont Scoop’s blog.
Here’s the scoop on a basic definition in journalism: a journalist is a person who collects, writes or distributes news or other current information, not their OPINION. Opinions are bias.
March 7th Post – you wrote “Village politics are beginning to take on a tone similar to that found in national politics” – Opinion.
December 16th 2014: “Opinion: Airmont Board Votes to Keep Residents in the Dark”. You even put the word “Opinion” in the title.
December 9th Post – “puzzling case of Anthony Valenti” – That, again, is an opinion.
I could go on but the point is that your blog is riddled with opinions. You have a bias.
One final note:
Thank you Morty and Mr. Peterlin for giving my last blog post validity by updating your personal facebook and twitter information to hide it from the public.
